Photovoltaic systems
A photovoltaic system (solar panels, Low transmittance windows inverters, storage systems, supports…) is a special electrical installation that produces energy from a renewable and inexhaustible source: the sun.
Grid-connected (on-grid) systems are integrated with conventional, residential and industrial electrical systems, while stand-alone (off-grid) systems are not.
Both may include a battery system that ensures ‘continuity of service’, i.e. the supply of electricity even during the night or when the level of solar irradiation is insufficient or absent.
